questions

What are the benefits of trade union membership and what do I get for my union membership?

questions

The benefits of a trade union membership will depend on exactly what trade union you belong to. The general benefits are that your rights and conditions will be protected at work. You will also mostly likely have better wages and conditions than non-members and the union will be able to support you should you have any trouble at work.

There is also assistance with financial advice, insurance, shopping and travel discounts and much more. The Australian Council of Trade Unions can assist you with these sorts of inquires on 1300 362 223.

If you want to know more about your rights at work call the Unions Helpline 1300 362 223
