Womenspeak’s Survey of Childcare inDate: 29 September 2006
The Womenspeak network is conducting a survey of childcare in Australia which they intend to use in a report to the Australian Government's Office for Women. WomenSpeak is consulting a broad range of women on the issue of childcare in Australia, and will provide a report to the Office for Women in November, with recommendations arising from the feedback gathered through this survey. This consultation aims to look into the financial and other accessibility of childcare, appropriateness of care, balancing cost and quality of care and barriers to childcare. The childcare survey has 24 questions which you can answer in a few minutes. If you have any questions, please contact us on womenspeak@ywca.org.au or 02 6230 5150. If you would like a copy of the final report as submitted to the Office for Women, please ensure that you provide your email address (that's Q.24). Please complete the survey by 24th October The WomenSpeak network is made up of 36 national women's organizations, which provide timely, well-researched and thorough information, focusing particularly on the areas of youth participation, diversity and human rights.
