Working people :No to Gvt's IR lawsDate: 22 October 2007
ACTU launches new TV ad campaign warning that a re-elected Howard/Costello Government will go further with its IR law changes. The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) will launch a new national TV advertising campaign in Brisbane today saying that the federal election is a referendum for working families on the Liberal Government's Work Choices IR laws.
Launching the new TV advertising campaign ACTU President Sharan Burrow said that the Government's IR laws were a threat to the job security, employment conditions and workplace rights of millions of Australian workers.
