ACTU launches new TV ad campaign warning that a re-elected Howard/Costello Government will go further with its IR law changes.

The Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) will launch a new national TV advertising campaign in Brisbane today saying that the federal election is a referendum for working families on the Liberal Government's Work Choices IR laws.

Launching the new TV advertising campaign ACTU President Sharan Burrow said that the Government's IR laws were a threat to the job security, employment conditions and workplace rights of millions of Australian workers.

Ms Burrow warned that the Federal Government would go further with its IR laws if the Coalition is re-elected.
