PSA bans Cessna 310 juvenile tripsDate: 01 August 2008
The Public Service Association has banned the use of Cessna 310 planes by the Department of Juvenile Justice for juvenile transport. Over the last couple of months concerns have been raised by members of the Transport Unit of the Department of Juvenile Justice regarding the use of the Cessna 310 to transport detainees. Members have identified the following safety risks associated with the Cessna 310:
The PSA has directed members in the Transport Division of the Department of Juvenile Justice to place an immediate ban on the use of the Cessna 310 effective Friday, 1st of August 2008 until further notice.
